The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 1 (Trailer) 2014
Well there’s a film title which just trips off the tongue. As you may know from previous reviews I’m not much of a fan of this particular franchise, I like the oft-used premise enough but dislike its rather ineffectual execution in this sanitized YA universe, but this will no doubt be another monster hit and things have been a little slow around here for the past few days;
True to form that has to be one of the dullest trailers for a big blockbuster I’ve seen for a while, complete with obligatory ‘woww, that’s sssoooo cool’ action beat before the title icon flashes up – erugh. Vaguely cast related but I’m off to see A Most Serious Man today for this week’s review, it’s only just clicked that Anton Corbjn was behind the camera…..
